House: Sitting here putting together some CD's to put into Karie's care package to her brother in Iraq and I was thinking about our conversation. What I'm saying here man is that either the Christians are going to rule this nation (and ultimately, the earth), or the Secularists are. NO ONE can deny that it's going to be one or the other. Hence, the undeniable fact is thus proved that neutralism is a myth, plain and simple. Now, Christians are gentle taskmasters. Yes yes, the Christians have failed occasionally throughout history (just as the United States has), afterall we are only human. But generally we rule well. (It was the Christians who finally heeded the Scripture of Philemon and freed the slaves [William wilberforce]). Additionally, we are the Bride of Christ, and He is maturing us so that our wisdom and our rule is continually becoming more just and right. No, Pat Robertson who is a complete DB is not going to be running things. The men in control are extrememly intelligent, thoughtful, and wise, so you don't have anything to worry about. On the contrary, secularists are usually mean, dictatorial, and utterly hypocritical. To say it another way, do you want Jim Talent (a PCA Calvinist, just like me) running the country or Rosie O'Donnell, Nancy Pelosi, and Hillary Clinton? (Dude please don't take this the wrong way, but,) That's what I thought. 'Nuff said. Have a good weekend man ;-)
Case in point, from www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/news/politics/16487654.htm?source=rss , "For the record, [Assemblywoman Sally Lieber, D-Mountain View] does not have children and says she was not slapped as a child. But she does have a cat named Snoop, which her veterinarian told her never to hit. "And if you never hit a cat," Lieber said, "you should never hit a kid.""
Just to clarify, I'm not saying that Republican Rudy Guiliani (propoenent of infanticidal partial-birth abortion) won't be elected President, all I'm saying is that eventually the Jim Talent's and Rick Santorum's will all begin to win, instead of losing because they stood on their principles.
